My daughter loves to color and draw and is always so proud to show off her artwork. (And as the proud momma, I want to show off her artwork too!) It's so important for our children's self esteem and confidence to know that their parents are proud of the work they do. Ever since becoming a mom to my sweet Hadley the representation of birthstones has become very near and dear to me. I love honoring her and her birth month (May) as well as my husband's (February) and mine (September). I have some special birthstone jewelry (which I hope to showcase to you in another post) that I wear in honor of them both but I'm always on the hunt for other special and unique ways to display one or all of our birthstones.

I was thrilled when I came upon this special birthstone treat from Lisa's NouveauTique shop. These would make such sweet, sentimental gifts for any mom, grandmother, siblings, etc. You can display them on a shelf, bookcase, mantle or dresser. Lisa also had some great suggestions to use them as centerpieces or to give as housewarming or hostess gifts.
