We recently moved into our new place here in TX and I have been on the hunt for some great decorative wall art for my daughter's room. That combined with my love for keepsakes and sentimental items makes Dallas' Abounding Treasures shop a favorite of mine and I'm so excited to share some of the great pieces available at this shop.

Etsy Feature: Una Tia Especial

In a previous post I mentioned how much I love birthstones and how special they are to me. Wearing birthstone jewelry can be such a simple and classy way to honor yourself and your loved ones. I came across Elaine's Una Tia Especial shop this past March when I was searching for a special gift for one of my best friends. I was looking for a piece of jewelry to honor her two children and Elaine was so sweet and so great to work with. She made the perfect birthstone necklace for my friend and I was so pleased with how her necklace turned out that when Mother's Day approached one of Elaine's necklaces was at the top of my wish list.

My husband ordered one of Elaine's beautiful birthstone necklaces that included his, mine and our daughter's birthstones.

It is gorgeous! My husband's birthstone (Feburary-Amethyst) is on the top, mine (September-Sapphire) is on the bottom and our daughter's (May-Emerald) is in between the two.

I wear this necklace just about everyday and I have received so many compliments on it. One of the most special things about this necklace is that whenever I wear it my daughter will go through each birthstone saying, "This one is Daddy's. This one is Hadley's. And this one is Mommy's." LOVE!

Etsy Feature: NouveauTique

Ever since becoming a mom to my sweet Hadley the representation of birthstones has become very near and dear to me. I love honoring her and her birth month (May) as well as my husband's (February) and mine (September). I have some special birthstone jewelry (which I hope to showcase to you in another post) that I wear in honor of them both but I'm always on the hunt for other special and unique ways to display one or all of our birthstones.

I was thrilled when I came upon this special birthstone treat from Lisa's NouveauTique shop. These would make such sweet, sentimental gifts for any mom, grandmother, siblings, etc. You can display them on a shelf, bookcase, mantle or dresser. Lisa also had some great suggestions to use them as centerpieces or to give as housewarming or hostess gifts.

Etsy Feature: A Paper Affaire

I love sending cards to my family and friends. I'm the kind of person that doesn't take cards lightly. I love that moment when I find the perfect card for my loved one and am excited to mail it off. But, sadly, that doesn't always happen. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into the store in search of the perfect card and left either a) empty handed or b) feeling like I had to settle on a "this will do" kind of card. It's sad really because I think cards and letters from loved ones are something that should be treasured.

I'm a card-keeper.....I have kept just about every card I've received over several years (birthday cards, Christmas cards....I even have cards I received from my wedding 12 years ago!). I think they're something special to hold onto and look back on every now and then.

That's why I'm so excited to feature Holly's A Paper Affaire Etsy shop. Just looking through her shop I can tell she loves what she does. She really puts a lot of time, effort and care into her cards and it shows. It was tough to pick just a few cards from her shop to feature because seriously every card is amazing! Etsy Feature: Ooh La La Babe

This Etsy shop is beautiful! If you are expecting a baby or know someone who is, please check out Kenza's Ooh La La Babe Etsy shop. She specializes in shabby chic decor for the baby's nursery and one of my favorite items from her shop are these pastel wooden blocks displayed in a mason jar.....(all of the following pictures are courtesy of Ooh La La Babe).....

She also makes some with little crystals attached and displayed in an apothecary jar.....gorgeous!!!
